Hi, I’m Sally!
I’m a crafty gal orginally from Liverpool, UK but I moved to Amsterdam, NL with my boyfriend Jacob in September 2020 for a new adventure. On this blog I share my sewing adventures and hope to write about our experiences as expats, too!
2020 was the year I discovered sewing, and the sewing community. It became a huge part of my life, providing during lockdown a virtual community of people who love sewing just as much as I do!
I’m no expert and am honest about that – as I go along I’m sharing my makes and mistakes and lessons from every part of the sewing practice.
I’m also passionate about supporting independent businesses and feature indie brands both in my monthly newsletter which goes out to over 1000 subscribers each month, and my Patreon membership where 100 members and counting get to know two new brands every month and exclusive discount codes for them.
